Miniature Traction Engine Rally
This weekend event will be hosted at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre (NTHC) and everyone’s welcome to the Miniature Traction Engine Rally on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April.
Organisers say you can expect “Miniature traction engines live in action. Admire the marvels of scale engineering. Chat to owners, builders and enthusiasts. Also the Heritage Centre attractions are open as usual.”
NTHC is one of Ruddington’s family visitor attractions from going on a miniature train ride to looking around the various heritage groups on-site.
It’s a great place for a family day out because as well as Nottingham SMEE you’ll find “Nottingham Heritage Railway, Nottingham Area Bus Society (NABS), Ruddington MRC, EMRT, Barnwrights & more.”
Also there’s The Heritage Cafe serving hot meals, snacks and drinks. It’s usually open at the weekends from 10am to 4pm (and also on Wednesdays).
Please note: You are advised to check NTHC events for details and cafe opening times, as activities may be subject to change (for example due to volunteers and/or the weather). Email nthcevents@gmail.com and it has a Facebook page.
